HFC offers two associate's degrees and a Nursing Skills program. The associate's degree programs include a 2-year generic program and an Advancement of Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to the Registered Nurse (RN) program. These programs require students to complete general education and nursing courses, as well as lab and agency clinical hours. For those interested in becoming a nurse aide, the HFC Nursing Skills Program is a 5-week course that incorporates theory, lab, and agency clinical hours.
Henry Ford College’s nursing program prepares you to take the NCLEX exam in the state of Michigan. Graduates who want to practice in other states should review those requirements via that Board of Nursing. For additional information, please contact the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
